Getting Started

Welcome to Domo, the collaborative modeling platform. This guide will help you get started with creating your first model.

Creating a New Model

To create a new model, navigate to the home page and click on "New EventStorming Model". This will open a blank canvas where you can start adding elements.

Adding Elements

Use the toolbar at the top of the canvas to add different types of elements to your model. Click on an element type in the toolbar, then click on the canvas to place it.

EventStorming Guide

EventStorming is a workshop format for quickly exploring complex business domains. In Domo, you can create digital EventStorming models with the following elements:

• Domain Events (Orange): Things that happen in your system that domain experts care about.
• Commands (Blue): Actions that trigger domain events.
• Aggregates (Yellow): Clusters of domain objects that are changed together.
• External Systems (Pink): Systems outside your boundary that interact with your system.
• Policies (Purple): Business rules that react to events.
• Read Models (Green): Information used to make decisions.
• Hotspots (Red): Areas of conflict, confusion, or opportunity.
